Sports Collectors Daily tracked the price spike in 2021. Between December 2020 and January 2021, several PSA 10 copies sold between $4,000 and $6,000. On February 24, 2021, one sold for US$17,050, and another, two days later, reached US$15,571.
At that time, PSA had graded 262 copies with a 9 rating. When buying, ensure the sticker was never stuck in an album and that both players are fully visible.

Card Ladder, a sales tracking database, wiped a record transaction for this card. An eBay auction ended at US$4,350 on May 4, 2020. Eight days later, the exact same seller listed and sold the identical slab for US$2,432.
Card Ladder flagged the bidding activity as suspicious and removed the sale. Today, the Silver #80 PSA 10 has a population of 320 copies, and its latest recorded sale was US$1,600 on October 20, 2026. Before relying on a sale record as a reference, always check if the same graded slab was quickly resold.
What other Mbappé cards have surged?
His 2018 Panini Kaboom in PSA 10 fetched US$16,669.20 on February 5, 2026, as reported by SI. The earliest logged sale for that version was just US$224.50.
